There are also many ruins, small stone circles and medieval monastic houses.

monuments, but rather it is enhanced by them. You will be amazed by the natural beauty of the Cambrian Mountains or the ridges of Brecon Beacons. There is fantastic walking opportunities you will want to take advantage of in the Welsh countryside. As you venture toward the coast, there are long beaches of sand and small seaside resorts.
While the beauty of Wale’s is found in the countryside, there is much to do in Cardiff. Cardiff is an excellent city to explore by foot as most of the
attractions are clustered in small, individual districts. Some of the city’s
best attractions are the National Museum and Cathays Park. The best way to
experience the city though is in its pubs and restaurants. If you feel inclined,
you may want to watch a Welsh rugby game. You might even see the team in action against their rivals, England.
